CSP - Computer Skills Placement*

Available on the ACCUPLACER platform

CSP- Computer Skills Placement

Possessing basic computer skills has become critical for college success in today's technology-centric academic environments. Virtually every school requires students to interact by computer for course schedules, grades, class assignments, billing, etc. Increasingly, research and class/instructor communication and assignments are accomplished online. In addition, distance learning and online courses require students use the computer as a tool.

CSP assessments, available on the ACCUPLACER system platform, assess student competency in basic computer skills. Available for both Vista/Office 2007 and Windows XP/Office 2003, CSP helps schools place students in basic computer skills courses or to test out of a computer skills requirement. CSP is available in a 70- question standard version or a 30-question basic version.

Results are available as part of the integrated ACCUPLACER scoring reports, with specific scores by skill sets that enable you to identify remedial needs.
