2009 National Chinese Language Conference

Making Connections, Building Partnerships

Save the Date!
April 30–May 2, 2009
Marriott Magnificent Mile Downtown Hotel
Chicago, IL

Join leaders from across K–16 education to share best practices, build partnerships, and advance the field of Chinese language and culture education.

The College Board and Asia Society are pleased to co-organize the second National Chinese Language Conference. At the conference, you will:

  • Hear the visions and perspectives of U.S. and international leaders from education, politics and business
  • Learn how to build sustainable and effective Chinese programs
  • Discuss key issues ranging from teacher preparation and certification to program articulation
  • Establish local and global partnerships for growth and success
  • Enjoy Chinese art performances and learn about Chinese culture
  • Visit Chicago Public Schools Chinese classes (optional, preconference activity)
