EXCELerator Winter 2008 Newsletter
Periodically, the EXCELerator Schools program publishes a newsletter to highlight some of the past, current, and upcoming events related to the districts and schools that are part of this effort. The winter newsletter features several articles, including one about the showcasing of EXCELerator at College Board Forum 2007 as well as a faculty focus on George Szkapiak, assistant principal at Kennedy High School in Chicago, Illinois.
A School Reform with Rigor
The school district of Hillsborough County in Tampa, Florida, has recently determined that they will implement the EXCELerator reform model in all of their 70 middle and high schools beginning with the next school year.
