College Board Advocacy
Advocacy is central to the work of the College Board. Working with members, policymakers, and the education community, we promote programs, policies, and practices that increase college access and success for all students. In a world of growing complexity and competing demands, we advocate to ensure that education comes first.
Our Advocacy initiatives support the College Board mission to connect students to college success and opportunity, with a commitment to the principles of equity and excellence in education. To respond to member needs and concerns and help advance education in the United States, we work toward improvements in four critical areas:
Access & Success in Education
Educational leaders collaborating to improve K–16 access and success.
College Affordability
Innovative approaches to improve the federal financial aid system.
Support for Educators
Gateway to the National Office for School Counselor Advocacy (NOSCA) and efforts to support teachers and members.
Diversity & Equity in Education
Resources for educators and admissions professionals to promote diversity and equity in our schools.
