Promoting change and opportunities

By maintaining an active voice regarding the topics most important to education today, the College Board can best assist its members and the state of education as a whole.

Through state outreach, the College Board affects State Policy, opening access and closing gaps in education throughout the country.

By actively participating in current issues of Federal Policy, the College Board is able to influence policy and inform the public of changes affecting education today.

Federal and private funding opportunities often make it possible for educators to directly respond to the current issues and concerns faced in their states and districts. A number of Funding and Resource Opportunities are available to states, districts, and consortia.

As part of our continuing efforts to help prepare more students for success in college and beyond, College Board Advocacy is holding a series of education policy events across the country.
