The PowerFAIDS National User Training and Conference is a client-driven, interactive event that provides you the opportunity to:

  • Meet PowerFAIDS users and gain insight into best practices
  • Meet the PowerFAIDS staff and receive a full demonstration of the software. 
  • Learn how PowerFAIDS has helped institutions of all types and sizes streamline and enhance their financial aid processing. 
  • Discover practical and inventive uses of PowerFAIDS and Net Partner, our optional Web student portal that allows you to gather data from students and offer online award letters. 
  • See functionality that can save you time and money.

Registration and fees

There is no registration fee for the PowerFAIDS National User Training and Conference, but attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation and lodging.

To register, log on to the PowerFAIDS community site and complete and submit a registration form or e-mail powerfaids@collegeboard.org to request a registration form.

Sessions

During the PowerFAIDS National User Conference, you will find out about PowerFAIDS functionality, best practices and user experiences. Session topics include:

  • Electronic Direct Loan and Alternative loan processing and reporting
  • Electronic document, award, and disbursement communications
  • Automated packaging, including unlimited simulations
  • Need analysis, including instant recalculations
  • Reporting, including how to easily create custom reports on demand

Hotel Accommodations

The College Board has negotiated a group rate of $155 per night for king rooms and $180 per night for doubles at the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel for the nights of July 19 and 20 for College Board PowerFAIDS conference attendees. The Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel is located at 909 N. Michigan Avenue. To receive the group rate, reservations must be made by June 18th.

Attendees can also book, modify, or cancel a reservation by calling 312-943-7200 and asking for The College Board group rate.
