International Events
Professional development with an international perspective
College Board events, tailored to the needs of international education professionals, take place worldwide throughout the year. They serve members of three distinct communities:
- Instructors of native or American-born students in College Board programs at the secondary level outside of the United States and Canada
- Overseas colleges and universities focused on the recruitment of students educated within the United States who have participated in College Board programs
- Colleges and universities in the U.S. that enroll students educated abroad.
The College Board offers a schedule of professional development workshops for teachers outside of the U.S. These workshops are regularly scheduled at locations in Asia, South America and Europe.
The College Board's Office of International Education represents its programs to international audiences and serves as an information link and liaison to overseas educational advisers, counselors at international schools, and U.S. college and university staff involved in international student recruitment activities.
