International Education & International Services
The Office of International Education in Washington, D.C. and the International Services unit in New York represent College Board programs to international audiences and serve as an information link and liaison to overseas educational advisers, counselors at schools located outside the United States, and U.S. college and university staff involved in international student recruitment activities.
9th Annual Summer Institute for International Admissions
June 16-20, 2008
Georgetown University, Washington D.C.
Who Should Attend: The Summer Institute at Georgetown University has been specifically designed to train individuals from counseling offices at overseas secondary schools; counseling offices at U.S. private boarding/day schools and EducationUSA advising centers. This institute is designed to address the varying needs of professionals involved in the college admissions and college advising processes.
Registration: Thank you for your support and interest. As of May 2, 2008, participant registration has closed. Booth presence at the College Fair is still available for U.S. colleges and universities.

New Counselor Workshop (Pre-Institute option)
June 15-16, 2008: As part of the Summer Institute, the College Board is also offering a two part workshop designed specifically for new counselors who have a year or less experience in college admissions counseling. This workshop gives new counselors the basic tools and resources they need to get started. For more information, please contact: ieworkshops@collegeboard.org.
