Pre-AP and AP Instructional Strategies Conference

Pre-AP & AP Instructional Strategies:
A Special Topics Conference for English and Social Studies Teachers

For middle and high school teachers seeking to tailor their professional development

The Special Topics Conference provides an opportunity to refine instructional skills and increase content knowledge. Whether you choose to focus on topics within your subject area or in related subjects, this one-day conference will equip you with highly effective teaching practices and an in-depth look at course content.

By including Pre-AP sessions, we hope to help middle and high school teachers strengthen pathways to AP courses for their students. Pre-AP workshops equip teachers with the strategies and tools to engage students in active, advanced learning in preparation for AP and college-level course work.

This year, the New England Regional Office will offer this event at two locations in the region. Attendees can tailor their conference experience by selecting breakout sessions in one or any combination of subject areas.
