Managing the PSAT/NMSQT at your school

The PSAT/NMSQT Coordinator is the key to the success of a school's PSAT/NMSQT program. As Coordinator, you assume primary responsibility for:

  • Ordering materials
  • Storing materials before test day
  • Preparing students, parents, and staff
  • Administering the test
  • Returning test materials
  • Remitting payment
  • Interpreting results and reports

Here is detailed information on what you will need to manage your role as PSAT/NMSQT Coordinator:

Schools that close on their registered test day due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or building disruptions, widespread illness, etc., should contact the PSAT/NMSQT program by 3 p.m. EST Friday, October 18th to make other testing arrangements.
