Fee Waivers & Reductions
Who can qualify for a fee waiver and how the process works
The College Board fee-waiver service assists qualified, economically disadvantaged students who plan to take the:
- SAT
- SAT Subject Tests
- PSAT/NMSQT
- AP Exams
A student must be either enrolled in, or eligible to participate in, the Federal Free and Reduced Price Lunch program (FRPL) in order to receive a fee waiver.
The fee-waiver guidelines, combined with your knowledge of circumstances of individual students, will help you determine which students are eligible. The main source for determining eligibility is the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Income Eligibility Guidelines.
