Fee waivers and reductions for AP Exams

The College Board provides a $22 fee reduction per exam for students with financial need. For each eligible student, schools should also forgo their $8 rebate. Thus, eligible students pay $56 per exam.

In addition, most states offer exam subsidies to help cover all or part of the remaining cost. Information about these state-specific contributions is posted on this website in February and will be mailed to Coordinators with exam shipments.
